We had an amazing March. Lots of learning and exciting activities. We even re-wrote our Goals as many students had already achieved them in one month. We continued with Getting Started ( Fitness /coordination programme), Kiwi Can (social skills & games), Patu(Maori fitness & sports programme) Grandparent’s reading(Rotary),Kapa Haka(Junior & Senior) and even found time to have a Dress up day as Heroes or Heroines. The students in Room 1 are loving learning and making great progress. We are Miharo.We rock. We show Aroha, Kaha and Mana.

Dress Up Day.
We do lots of things at school. I have gone up from Level 5 to Level 6 in Reading. I am good at Maths too.I add with my counters. Sometimes we buddy with other kids.My buddy is Rongo. I like writing stories. I can write 2 or 3 sentences now. Its fun at Kapa Haka and I like Getting Started too. (Kahn)
I have been enjoying encouraging Kahn in Reading. He has made some good progress. He started at Level 5 and quickly moved to Level 6. He is ready to move onto Level 7 now. He has grown in self confidence and enjoys joining in with others. He is also making good progress in Writing and Maths. Although Kahn has only been with us a month, he has fitted into the class well, He has made some good progress in all areas and we will all be sad to see him leave. (Mrs B)
